One of my favorite parts about creating natural products and using them is that one of the "side effects" is that you walk around smelling like an organic garden all of the time. Last summer was awesome business was picking up and everywhere I went I was complimented on my scent, now initially I was confused because I wasn't wearing anything scented. At the local pop up and networking events you could always find, butterflies, lady bugs, honey bees and dragon flies any where I was, and they were usually landing on my body somewhere. This fascinated people because as you may know certain insects represent different types of things.
Butterflies: Are known to be a representation of resurrection, change, renewal, hope, endurance, and courage to embrace the transformation to make life better.
Ladybugs: Are known to be centers around good fortune, true love, innocence and happy resolutions.
Bees: Are known to represent activity, work, diligence, good order, community, brightness and personal power.
Dragonflies: Are known to represent change, transformation, adaptability, and self-realization.
I was attracting bugs, birds, and small animals were eating out of the palm of my hands as if I was Snow White. To be surrounded by so many positive signs and knowing that animals know good people when they see them I took some time to figure out why this was happening, because frankly it was out of the ordinary. I loved every moment of it, I now know why Snow White was always singing. Not only was I radiating positive energy but I was beaming with the natural scents of the flowers and herbs I was using. I wasn't lucky lol they were tasting me! Yet it gets even better! Do you want to know what I wasn't attracting? Mesquoitos, wasps, ants, spiders all insects I try to avoid. Using natural ingredients has its natural advantages. A few of my body oil mixtures have more than just one plant in them. Without realizing it I was able to naturally protect my skin from the insects that are usually drawn to me. As I did more research I learned that the herbs I was utilizing as a preservative also work to keep certain insects away. That's not to say I didn't know what I was doing, but I was unaware that they would keep insects away.
After making these discoveries I was even more confident about my product, I put lots of positive energy into my creations and for customers like you to be able to experience that in a physical for such as positive affirming insects and animals showing up in your life it makes me proud.
From now on all the body oils labels will come with a warning: " May turn you into a real life Snow White"
